Questions about field types

Which field types does Peak Forms have?
19 field types in six groups: text, contact, choice, numbers & rating, consent & data and content. All of them are on this page.
Do some field types cost extra?
No. Every field type is available in every form, including the free plan.
Can I collect files or signatures?
Not with Peak Forms. File upload, signature and payment are not available as field types today.
What is the hidden field for?
It reads a value from the form address, for example ?utm_source=newsletter. That way every answer shows where it came from without asking the person.
When do I use a dropdown instead of single choice?
When there are many answers. When a single choice has more than eight answers, Peak Forms itself suggests a dropdown because it is shorter on phones.
