Why change anything

Agreed verbally, and half a year later everyone remembers it differently.

  • When you moved in, it was clear who paid for what. When you move out, nobody remembers exactly.
  • You lend a friend your car, and afterward it's unclear who covers the dent.
  • A note with the arrangement once hung on the fridge and is long gone.

Until now

  1. Agreeing on something at the kitchen table
  2. Relying on everyone having understood it the same way
  3. Reconstructing it from memory later
  4. Arguing over what was meant

With Agreements

  1. Write down an arrangement as an agreement
  2. Invite everyone involved to sign
  3. See who has signed and look it up later

What gets better

Three things Agreements does for you.

Everyone has the same thing in front of them

What's meant is written out before anyone signs, not only at the next dispute.

You write the arrangement down as an agreement before inviting the participants to sign.

Clear on who agreed

You don't have to guess whether everyone agrees. You see right away who's still missing.

Every agreement has a signature status for all invited signers.

Looking it up later instead of remembering

When the question comes up months later of what was agreed, you look it up instead of arguing.

The agreement stays in your personal workspace, along with the participants and their status.

In everyday life

Here's how others see it.

Before you start.

Why would I need an agreement for personal use?

Whenever you agree on something that may matter later: costs in a shared flat, something borrowed or tasks in the family. Written down and signed, everyone remembers the same thing.

Is an agreement like this legally binding?

This page makes no statement on that. Agreements helps you write down an arrangement and have it signed. If a lot is at stake, get legal advice.

Who can sign?

Is this the same app as Sign for companies?

Yes, Agreements is Peak One Sign. For personal use, you use it in your personal workspace, separate from a company's workspace.
