Documents and team knowledge for small businesses

Everyone can find what your team discusses and decides.

Write minutes, instructions, and the handbook together in documents. A library shows which documents exist, and a dedicated view collects the decisions they contain.

After you log in, Docs opens directly. Your first document is the first step.

Why change anything

Everything was clear in the meeting. Two weeks later someone asks.

  • The minutes are in the inbox of someone who's on vacation.
  • New colleagues ask about processes that were written down somewhere at some point.
  • Everyone has their own version of the quote template on their computer.

Until now

  1. Send the minutes as an email attachment
  2. Collect instructions in private notes
  3. Ask where the current template is
  4. Reconstruct decisions from memory

With Docs

  1. Write and share a document together
  2. Check the library to see which documents exist
  3. Read decisions collected in one place

How it works

To your result in 4 steps.

  1. 01

    Start a document

Open a new document and capture the first thought, for example the notes from your next meeting.

  2. 02

    Structure content

Give the document headings and sections so others can quickly find what they're looking for.

  3. 03

    Share with the team

Share the document with the people who work with it, and keep writing together.

  4. 04

    Finding things again

In the document library, the team sees which documents exist. Decisions from documents have a view of their own.

What gets better

Three things Docs does for you.

Knowledge in one place

Handbook, workshop notes, and templates live where the whole team looks, not in individual inboxes.

Notes, documents, and files live together in Docs; a library answers which documents exist.

Decisions you can read back

When someone asks what was decided, you look it up instead of replaying the meeting in your head.

A dedicated view shows which decisions are in your documents.

See what's being worked on right now

You see which documents are in progress without asking around the team.

The Docs start view answers what is currently being written.

Before you start.

What do teams typically use Docs for?

For knowledge that should last: meeting minutes, instructions, the team handbook, workshop notes, and your templates.

Can we write on a document together?

Yes. Docs is designed for sharing content with the people who work with it and continuing to write together. You'll see how approvals work in detail in the app.

How do we find decisions from meetings again?

Docs has a dedicated view for the decisions in your documents. You'll see how they appear there in the app.

Can I also store files like PDFs or contracts?

Yes. Besides documents, Docs has a file storage area that shows where each file is and what it's about.

Where do I quickly jot something down that isn't a finished document yet?

That's what the notepad is for. There you capture a thought before it's gone.

What happens when I click “Start first document”?

You’ll go to the Peak One login. The “Docs” selection and the destination page are passed along in the link. After you log in, you open this app directly. One account works for all Peak One apps.

What does Docs cost?

Features and usage limits depend on your plan. You'll find the overview on the Pricing page. Clicking “Start first document” does not start a paid subscription.

Write the next minutes where the team will find them again.

Open a new document, capture the first thought, and share it with your team.
