Courses for onboarding and training your team

Your expertise as a course that leads step by step to application.

Define what participants should be able to do after the course, and organize your content into learning steps. That way every new person follows the same traceable path from the first piece of content to application.

After you log in, the Academy opens directly. Your first step is the learning goal of your first course.

Why change anything

The new colleague asks, and you explain it all over again.

  • Only those who have been around a long time know how processes really work.
  • Every onboarding sounds a little different, depending on who has time to explain.
  • You often only notice whether something was understood at the first mistake.

Until now

  1. Onboard a new person verbally
  2. Hunt down old documents and emails
  3. Answer questions on the side
  4. Start over again with the next new hire

With Academy

  1. Set the learning goal once
  2. Organize content into learning steps
  3. Every new person follows the same path to application

How it works

To your result in 3 steps.

  1. 01

    Set learning goal

Define what participants should be able to do after your first course, for example answer customer inquiries independently.

  2. 02

    Organize content

Break your knowledge into learning steps that build on each other, from the first piece of content to application.

  3. 03

    Support learning

Participants go through the course step by step. You guide them along the way instead of explaining everything one by one.

What gets better

Three things Academy does for you.

A clear goal for every course

Participants know from the start what they should be able to do at the end, and you know what belongs in the course.

Every course starts with the learning goal you set.

A path anyone can follow

Onboarding no longer depends on who happens to be explaining. Everyone goes through the same steps in the same order.

Your knowledge is organized into courses and learning steps, from the first piece of content to application.

Practice is part of it

It doesn't stop at reading. Content is practiced and reviewed until it sticks.

Besides the content, the Academy has its own areas for practice and review and for learning progress.

In everyday life

Here's how others see it.

Owner of a service business

Trigger
A new customer service employee starts on Monday.
With Academy
You create a course with the learning goal of answering inquiries independently, and organize the processes into learning steps.
Result
She works through the course and only asks what's really still open.

Team lead

Trigger
An internal process changes, and everyone should understand it the same way.
With Academy
You build the new process as a short course with a few learning steps.
Result
The whole team follows the same path, instead of everyone having heard a different version.

Consulting

Trigger
After a workshop, participants should apply the method themselves.
With Academy
You organize the workshop content into a course with a learning goal and learning steps.
Result
Participants have a traceable path from content to their own application.

Before you start.

Who is the Academy for?

For everyone who wants to pass on knowledge: to new employees, to the whole team, or to participants after a workshop. You'll see how to add participants in the app.

Do I need ready-made training materials?

No. You start with the learning goal and then organize your content into learning steps. Existing notes and processes are a good starting point.

How many learning steps should a course have?

As many as the learning goal requires. A narrow learning goal keeps the course short and the path to application clear.

Is there practice in the Academy too?

Yes. There is a dedicated area for practice and review so content sticks. You'll see which practice formats are available in the app.

Can I see what has stuck?

The Academy has an area for learning progress that shows what has stuck and what is already working on the job. You'll see what it shows in detail in the app.

What happens when I click “Plan first course”?

You’ll go to the Peak One login. The “Academy” selection and the destination page are passed along in the link. After you log in, you open this app directly. One account works for all Peak One apps.

What does Academy cost?

Features and usage limits depend on your plan. You'll find the overview on the Pricing page. Clicking “Plan first course” does not start a paid subscription.

Explain it properly once, then for everyone.
