Software categories · Peak One
Find the software for the work you really want to get done.
Find software by task instead of by tool name: what matters in the selection, what the category does and how you get started with it in Peak One.
Decision aid
Find software by task. Not by tool names.
A category describes a job that needs to get done. Features and apps are the tools for it. If you start with the work, you compare less and decide faster.
What's the difference between a software category and an app?
A software category describes a task, for example managing contacts (CRM) or letting people book appointments. An app is a specific product that does that task. These pages help you choose and say what Peak One covers of it today.
How do I know which software I need?
Start with the work that's currently falling behind, not with tool names. Each category has a selection guide with must-have, should-have, and optional criteria that you can tailor to your team.
Are the pages neutral?
No, and we say so openly: Peak Atlas runs these pages. That's why each criterion states whether Peak One meets it today, only partly, is planning to, or not at all, and when another solution fits better.
Peak One
One reality. Many apps.
In Peak One, the apps share the same people, tasks, products, and numbers. A new category therefore doesn't automatically mean a new tool with another copy of your data.
