Quick overview
What form software does.
- Form software
- It asks the other person predefined questions and collects the answers in one place. The difference from email: every inquiry arrives with the same details, and you don't have to ask follow-up questions.
- Example
- A studio links a “Project inquiry” form on its website, asking for goal, time frame, and contact. Every inquiry contains these details before the first conversation takes place.
- Common mistakes
- Asking twenty questions when five are enough for the decision
- Collecting replies without deciding who reads them
- Creating one form per purpose and losing track
How you know it's time
Three characters, that the contact field is no longer enough.
- The first message hardly says what someone actually needs.
- You ask every prospect the same follow-up questions by hand.
- Details about an inquiry are scattered across inbox, chat, and notes.

Is this right for you?
Put in honest perspective.
Peak Atlas runs this page. That's why it also says when a specialized form tool is the better choice.
Peak One is a good fit if
- You collect project inquiries or details before a conversation and want to read them in one place.
- Form, page, and QR code should fit together without connecting three tools.
- A few well-chosen questions are enough for you, rather than a complex questionnaire.
Something else fits better if
- You need conditional logic, scoring, payments in the form, or an export today. The website doesn't describe that for Forms.
- You want replies to be created automatically as a contact or task right away. In Peak One that is only planned.
- You run large surveys with analysis across many participants. Survey software is built for that.

Frequently asked questions
Briefly answered.
What's the difference between a form, an assessment, and a survey?
A form collects details, for example for a project inquiry. An assessment asks the other person about their current state, for example before an initial consultation. A survey goes out to many people and is evaluated statistically. Forms is geared toward inquiries and assessments.
How many questions should an inquiry form have?
As few as you need to decide on the next step. Goal, time frame, budget range, and contact are usually enough. Everything else is better settled in conversation.
What should I watch for with data protection?
Only ask for what you really need, say in the form what you use the details for, and have your legal advisor review the consent texts. For Peak One: the application and database run in Frankfurt am Main.
Can I embed the form on my website?
What's documented is that a page in Pages or a QR code leads straight to the form. Whether a form from Forms can be embedded on an external website isn't described on the website yet.
Do replies land in the CRM automatically?
Not yet. Replies landing in Peak as a person, sales opportunity, or task is planned. Until then, you read the replies in Forms and create the contact in the CRM yourself.
