QR codes for marketing and print

Printed QR codes that you can still change after printing.

Set a destination, create the code, and put it on a flyer, poster, or packaging. The destination stays changeable, and you see how often and when it's scanned.

After you log in, QR opens directly. The destination address of your first code is the first step.

Why change anything

The flyer is printed, and the destination page changes next week.

  • The code on the packaging still points to a page that no longer exists.
  • Which codes are currently in circulation on which material is known only to whoever created them back then.
  • You don't find out whether anyone scans the code on the poster.

Until now

  1. Generate a QR code with a fixed address
  2. Have the code printed
  3. Reprint when there's a new destination page
  4. Estimate the code's impact

With QR

  1. Set destination and use the code
  2. Change the destination in QR if needed
  3. View scans by code and campaign

How it works

To your result in 4 steps.

  1. 01

    Set destination

Enter the destination address, for example your offer, a form, or your appointment link.

  2. 02

    Create QR code

Create the code and assign it to a campaign if needed.

  3. 03

    Use the code

Put it on a flyer, poster, product, or trade fair booth. If the destination changes, you adjust it in QR.

  4. 04

    View scans

See how often your codes are scanned and where and when that happens.

What gets better

Three things QR does for you.

Print stays current

If the destination page changes, the print run stays in use. You adjust the destination, not the print.

QR is built for codes that live on after printing: their destination can be changed.

All codes and destinations at a glance

You know which codes are in circulation, where they lead, and which campaign they belong to.

A list of all codes with their destination and an overview of which campaign uses which codes.

See what gets scanned

Instead of guessing, you see which codes are used and when.

An overview shows how often your codes are scanned, and an analysis shows where and when.

In everyday life

Here's how others see it.

Retailer

Trigger
On the packaging, a code should lead to care instructions that may still change.
With QR
You create the code and change the destination later in QR when the page moves.
Result
The packaging doesn't need to be reprinted.

Organizer

Trigger
Posters and flyers for an event are going to print.
With QR
You create one code per material and assign them all to the same campaign.
Result
You see whether the poster or the flyer gets scanned more.

Service provider at a trade fair

Trigger
At the booth, visitors should be able to book an appointment directly.
With QR
A QR code on the display stand leads to your appointment link.
Result
Prospects book from the booth without typing an address.

  • Quotes

A QR code on print or product leads straight to your offer.

Before you start.

Can I change the destination when the code is already printed?

Yes. QR is built for codes that live on after printing. You change the destination in the app, and the printed code stays the same.

Where can a QR code lead?

To a web address you set, for example your offer, a form, or your appointment link.

Can I see how often a code was scanned?

Yes. An overview shows how often your codes are scanned, and an analysis shows where and when. You'll see what details it contains in the app.

Can I organize codes by campaign?

Yes. A dedicated view shows which campaign uses which codes.

In which formats can I download the code for printing?

You'll see which formats are available in the app when you create the code.

What happens when I click “Create QR code”?

You’ll go to the Peak One login. The “QR” selection and the destination page are passed along in the link. After you log in, you open this app directly. One account works for all Peak One apps.

What does QR cost?

Features and usage limits depend on your plan. You'll find the overview on the Pricing page. Clicking “Create QR code” does not start a paid subscription.

Print the code once and keep the destination in your hands.
