Daily planner for your personal daily life

Every morning, clear which three things come first today.

The day plan pulls due and scheduled tasks into your day. You set the three most important, the rest sits below, and what doesn't fit today, you deliberately push to tomorrow.

After you log in, the day plan opens on your current day and week.

Why change anything

The day is fully booked, and in the evening the most important thing is still open.

  • In the morning you sort out in your head everything that should happen today, and it's too much.
  • Small things get done quickly, and what matters slips to the back.
  • What's left undone, you carry into the next day as a guilty conscience.

Until now

  1. Sort it out in your head in the morning
  2. Take on too much for one day
  3. What matters stays undone
  4. Stop in the evening with a guilty conscience

With Daily Plan

  1. Open day, what's due is already there
  2. Set top 3
  3. Check off what's done
  4. Deliberately push the rest to tomorrow

How it works

To your result in 4 steps.

  1. 01

    Open day

Tasks that are due today or were scheduled for today are already in your day.

  2. 02

    Set top 3

Decide which three things really have to happen today. They sit on top, everything else below.

  3. 03

    Schedule and postpone

Give a task a day this week without losing its due date. What doesn't fit today deliberately slides to tomorrow.

  4. 04

    Check off

What you complete in the day plan is also done in Tasks. It's the same task.

What gets better

Three things Day plan does for you.

The most important first

In the morning you don't have to think long. The three things that count today are right at the top.

Top 3 first, the rest below.

Day and week together

You see today and the next days and distribute what's still coming up this week.

One view for day and week. A task gets a day without losing its due date.

Postpone without a guilty conscience

A day that doesn't add up isn't a failure. You decide what goes to tomorrow instead of just leaving it.

What doesn't fit today deliberately slides to tomorrow.

In everyday life

Here's how others see it.

Parents

Trigger
Monday starts with the pediatrician, a big grocery shop, a call to the insurance company, and laundry.
With Daily Plan
You set the three things that must happen today, and deliberately push the big grocery shop to Tuesday.
Result
The day fits what really goes into it.

Students

Trigger
Next to lectures and a side job, the term paper never gets its turn.
With Daily Plan
You schedule the housework for two fixed days this week.
Result
The deadline stays in view, and on the other days there is room for the rest.

Professionals

Trigger
After a long workday, you only have the energy for one thing in the evening.
With Daily Plan
You look at the day plan and tackle the top one of the three.
Result
The most important things are done, even if the rest waits until tomorrow.

Part of Peak One

What comes next is already there.

  • Tasks

The day plan works with your tasks. What you check off in the day plan is also done in Tasks, because it's the same task.

Before you start.

Where do the tasks in the day plan come from?

From Tasks. The day plan shows a task on the day you scheduled it for, otherwise on its due date. It's the same task, not a copy.

Why exactly three?

Three fit in your head and on one screen. The number is a decision aid, not a rule from a study. All other tasks sit below.

What happens to tasks that aren't finished today?

You deliberately push them to tomorrow. They are kept, and their due date is not lost in the process.

Are my appointments in the day plan too?

Peak One connects with Google Calendar, and appointments then flow into your daily planning. You'll find the available integrations on the Integrations page.

What's the difference from Focus and the focus timer?

The day plan decides what's on for today and this week. Focus then shows you only the one task you're working on right now, and the focus timer accompanies a work session through to the result.

Is my day plan separate from my work?

The day plan runs here in your personal workspace. A workspace is the area where you work: your personal one or your company's.

What happens when I click “Plan today”?

You’ll go to the Peak One login. The “Day plan” selection and the destination page are passed along in the link. After you log in, you open this app directly. One account works for all Peak One apps.

What does Daily Plan cost?

Features and usage limits depend on your plan. You'll find the overview on the Pricing page. Clicking “Plan today” does not start a paid subscription.
