Peak Atlas

Revenue Operations & Finance Analyst

You make contribution margins, payment flows, and pipeline metrics visible so management can decide based on them.

We promise customers sales that is visible in numbers at month end. For that, our own numbers and the reports for customers have to be right. You build and maintain that foundation.

What the role is measured on

Three results instead of a task list.

These are the criteria by which we jointly check whether the work is effective. No target figures on a website – we set those with you.

  1. 01

    Monthly close

Contribution margins per program and customer are reliably available by the agreed date.

  2. 02

    Cash flow view

Payment flows are planned on a rolling basis; deviations are explained, not discovered.

  3. 03

    Pipeline metrics

Sales and project numbers come from one source and match the CRM and accounting.

Areas of responsibility

Five areas you own.

  • Cut-out composition: a burgundy velvet shield with a brass rim on a marble plinth, small wooden blocks in front – a metaphor for protecting what you have achieved.
  • 01

    Contribution margin calculation

Prepare revenue, effort, and contribution margins per program, customer, and role in a traceable way.

  • 02

    Cash flow planning

Plan incoming and outgoing payments on a rolling basis and walk through them with management.

  • 03

    Pipeline & sales metrics

Connect CRM data with accounting and project status: one number, one source.

  • 04

    Customer reporting

Build reports for customer programs with the Delivery team: understandable, verifiable, ready for decisions.

  • 05

    Processes & tools

Maintain templates, calculators, and workflows, internally and for the published tools.

Your start

The first 90 days – as orientation, not as a test.

The order and content are realistically derived from our daily work. The actual pace depends on you and the ongoing projects.

  1. 30 days

    Understand the numbers landscape

You learn programs, cost structure, CRM, and accounting and document where each number comes from.

  2. 60 days

    First close of your own

You prepare the monthly close by contribution margin and a rolling cash flow view.

  3. 90 days

    Routine and customer reporting

Closing, cash flow, and pipeline metrics run on a fixed calendar; first customer reports are live.

What you bring

Three things have to be right. The rest is learnable.

Must

  • You've been responsible for contribution margin or cash flow calculations in a company, not just read them.
  • You're confident in spreadsheets and can cleanly merge data from CRM and accounting.
  • You explain numbers so management can make decisions, without jargon.

Helpful

  • Experience in controlling, financial accounting, or revenue operations at service companies.
  • Knowledge of SQL, BI tools, or automation of recurring reports.
  • Understanding of sales processes and CRM data models.

When it's not a fit

Fairness first: if one of these points describes you, we both save ourselves the conversation.

  • You only want to book, but not explain numbers.
  • You're uncomfortable when data sources are incomplete and you have to put them in order first.
  • You expect a large finance team with a clear division of labor.

How we work together

The same rules as with our customers.

  1. 01

Every measure has a number before and after.

We work on pipelines, processes, and accounts that are visible at month end. Anyone who prefers presenting good intentions won't be happy with us.

  2. 02

We say what we can't do.

Customers learn openly which services we don't offer. The same applies internally, including in the interview.

  3. 03

We build so that it runs without us.

The goal of every collaboration is the handover. Anyone who wants to make themselves indispensable works against the principle.

  4. 04

A conversation instead of a process.

No portal, no standard rounds. We read what you write and reply personally.

Framework

Peak Atlas is headquartered in Würzburg. A large part of the work takes place at customer sites or remotely.

We clarify contract type, scope, compensation, and work location in the initial consultation, openly and concretely, not only after several rounds. That's why you won't find salary bands or deadlines on this page.

Your path to us

Three steps. No portal.

  1. 01

    Write to us

Answer the one question about the role in two to four sentences and send it by email. No cover letter, no résumé upload; a profile link is enough.

  2. 02

    Initial consultation

We talk about your answer, the role, and the framework: contract type, scope, compensation, work location. You get the same honest answers we give customers.

  3. 03

    Work sample & decision

A small, realistic task from the role's daily work, discussed together. Then both sides decide.

Frequently asked questions

What applicants ask us about this role.

Your question missing? Just ask it in your application – we'll answer personally.

Will I work internally for Peak Atlas or for customers?

Both. The focus is on our own numbers; you build customer reports together with the Delivery team.

Which systems are used?

We'll clarify that in the interview. More important is that you can connect data from CRM, accounting, and project management in a traceable way.

Do I need a degree in business or finance?

No. We check whether you've been responsible for contribution margins and cash flow and can explain numbers, not your diploma.

Permanent, part-time, or freelance?

Different models are possible. We discuss contract type, scope, and compensation in the initial consultation.

Apply
