Problem · Too few customer inquiries

The work is good. But hardly anyone asks.

Before you spend more on ads: check where prospects are missing. It is usually one stage, not all at once.

Try it right away

Five questions. One bottleneck.

Answer the questions for your most important offer. The result names the stage to start with.

01How do most of your current customers find you?
02Can you say in one sentence who your offer is for and what problem it solves?
03What can someone do who lands on your page?
04How much time per week is set aside for visibility, such as posts, contacts, or events?
05Do you know which channel brought the most inquiries last quarter?

Assumptions and limits

  • The check gives a direction, not a market analysis. It knows neither your industry nor your numbers.
  • These questions can't reveal seasonal swings or a shrinking market.

Your entries stay in this browser. Nothing is saved or sent.

How you'll notice

The calendar has gaps. The inbox does, too.

  • New jobs come almost only through referrals, and you don't know when the next one will arrive.
  • After a campaign there are a few requests, then silence again.
  • You're thinking about running more ads without knowing what the previous ones brought in.

Understand the causes

Four places, where demand gets stuck.

  1. 01

The offer is hard to understand

    How you'll notice
In the call, prospects first ask what exactly you do.
    Why it happens
The offer describes services instead of a problem and an outcome.
    What helps
Write one sentence that names the target customer, problem, and result, and use it the same way everywhere.
    Limit
A clear sentence doesn't replace a need. If nobody has the problem, better wording won't help.
  2. 02

There is no clear next step

    How you'll notice
Visitors look around and leave again.
    Why it happens
The page explains a lot, but doesn't call for anything specific.
    What helps
One page per offer with exactly one action, such as a short form or a booking link.
    Limit
A good page doesn't bring visitors. It just makes more of the ones who already come.
  3. 03

Visibility only happens on the side

    How you'll notice
When day-to-day work is full, nothing happens for new customers.
    Why it happens
Acquisition has no fixed place in the week and loses to every urgent task.
    What helps
Reserve a fixed block per week for one channel and treat it like a customer appointment.
    Limit
Some channels take months to pay off. A few weeks is not a fair test.
  4. 04

    Nobody knows what works

    How you'll notice
Budget and time go into channels whose results nobody knows.
    Why it happens
The source of an inquiry is not recorded.
    What helps
Note the source for every inquiry and count once a month.
    Limit
Many customers arrive through several routes. The source is a hint, not an exact attribution.

Ways to solve it

From the offer all the way to the inquiry.

Where the funnel stands.

Three steps

This week. Without a new budget.

  1. 01 / 03

    Ask for the source

Ask the last ten customers how they found you, and count the answers.

  2. 02 / 03

    Sharpen one sentence

Who it's for, which problem, which result. Put this sentence at the top of your page and in your profile.

  3. 03 / 03

    Offer a promotion

Every page about your offer ends with exactly one next step: inquiry or appointment.

Frequently asked questions

Briefly answered.

Should I just run more ads?

Only when the offer and page are clear. Ads bring visitors; if they don't know what to do, only the cost per inquiry goes up.

How many inquiries are normal?

There is no value that is right for everyone. It makes more sense to work backward from your own revenue goal: how many jobs do you need, and how many inquiries lead to a job for you?

Will Peak One find new customers for me?

No. Peak One helps you organize offer, page, request and funnel plan and see where it gets stuck. Visibility itself stays your job.
