NPS calculator
Enter promoters (9–10), passives (7–8) and detractors (0–6): the calculator shows the NPS as the share of promoters minus the share of detractors and explains how the value comes about.

NPS = share of promoters (9–10) − share of detractors (0–6), in points from −100 to +100

Passives

Detractors

Interpret rather than compare: Whether a score is good depends on industry, question, timing and sample. The most meaningful view is the trend of your own measurements using the same question.

What the calculator doesn't answer.
- The NPS tells you how respondents answered – not why. The reasons come from open follow-up questions.
- Small samples fluctuate strongly; a few responses can then move the score by many points.
- Scores from different questions, points in time or audiences are not directly comparable. The calculator deliberately does not show industry benchmarks.
