Peak Atlas

Use case · Increase shop conversion

More orders from the traffic your shop already has.

Before more budget goes into advertising, look at the transitions in your shop: product page, cart, checkout and payment. Losing less here lowers the cost per order – without a single euro more in ad budget. Whether that is the biggest lever in your shop, we check with your data.

Analyze my shop

Stations 05, 04, 03 and 01 on the path of the money – prioritized by impact, not by order.

Cut-out composition: a magnifying glass and a burgundy tube, a hand examining a golden coin, next to graduated wooden blocks and a brass tray – a metaphor for reviewing open opportunities.

The problem

The traffic arrives. The orders don’t.

A walnut weaving frame through whose mirror-metal guide five burgundy velvet ribbons converge into a braid, in front a sheet of deckle-edge paper – a metaphor for areas that work together in a repeatable workflow.
01

The product page doesn’t answer the buying question

Missing reasons to buy, images, reviews or unclear price presentation: interest doesn’t turn into a decision. Station 05 Product interest.

02

Surprises in the cart

Shipping costs or delivery times appear too late. Station 04 Cart, metric cart-to-order rate.

03

Friction in checkout and payment

Too many fields, missing payment methods or failed authorizations. Stations 03 Checkout and 01 Payment.

Approach

How we go through the transitions

  1. 01

    Measure backwards from the result

Payment, order, checkout, cart, product page: every transition gets a number, as far as your shop and analytics data allow.

  2. 02

    Prioritize by impact

Expected impact on contribution margin, effort and feasibility decide – not the position in the funnel.

  3. 03

    Change, measure, decide

Every adjustment is measured against the previous state. Whatever is still a hypothesis stays marked as a hypothesis.

Frequently asked questions

Clearly answered.

Is that classic conversion optimization with A/B tests?

In part. Where traffic and orders are sufficient for reliable tests, we test. Otherwise we measure against the previous state and flag open hypotheses.

Will you rebuild our shop?

A complete relaunch is not our starting point. We improve the transitions with the greatest expected leverage – ourselves or together with your team or your shop agency, depending on the agreed scope.

Does a higher conversion rate automatically mean more profit?

No. More orders through bigger discounts can lower contribution margin. We evaluate measures by what is left after variable costs and marketing.
